WE’RE BUILDING A FIBER-OPTIC NETWORK!

In 2019, The Vail School District is building a District-wide fiber-optic network to connect all our schools at 10 gigabits/second. State and Federal resources will cover 75% of the $4.6 million construction costs. Voter-approved bond dollars will cover the rest. The District will be saving over $120,000 per year in connection fees once the project is completed.

We’ve created this website to keep our community up-to-date on construction progress. As individual schools are planned, started, and completed, we’ll post updates here.
